The World for all is a nonprofit organization that brings together and teaches disabled children suffering from cerebral palsy and other serious illnesses. Governmental institutions have turned away from our children. They call them "unteachable" and deny any adequate support. Many people shy away and protect their children from us, as if we suffer a contagious disease.
Families with disabled children are often incomplete and needy: not all fathers withstand the hardships of such a life, and many drop out of the family, and a mother does not work, because she can not leave the child. As a result, a child like this may spend his or her entire childhood in one room, communicating only with a limited number of people, without knowing that outside of his room there is a big world that is open to all.
The purpose of creating the organization is this:
”In response to the indifference of the state and the immaturity of the society we have ourselves created favorable conditions for development and education of our children”.
Not only our organization is trying to organize education of our children and establish their communication with the outside world, but also it is finding jobs for the parents, allowing them to work in our office.
What we do:
we organize daily classes for children with teachers and rehabilitation-skilled parents. Volunteers, including students of psychological faculty of Moscow State University, regularly come to our place where they communicate with our children.
We conduct classes for adolescents with disabilities which are aimed at social-vocational adaptation.
We also organize special sessions with a psychologist for parents. All classes are free, we live entirely on voluntary donations.
